1 My passport is from Mexico. My wife is American and my kids are American. Eventually, I’ll become an American. I love America. But I’m a true believer that human beings’ worst inventions were borders and nationalities. I don’t like different races and ethnic groups being treated as if they were different kinds of human beings. We’re all one. We shouldn’t have borders. [The Arizona Republic, October 1, 2006]
2 I have a very peculiar relationship with tattoos. I get tattooed and while they’re doing it, I suffer like crazy because of the pain. I hate the pain so much, I stop for about two to three years so my mind forgets how much they hurt. [The Arizona Republic, October 16, 2012]
