- A Cambodian passport issued not more than 10 years earlier and valid for at least 3 months from the date of departure from Germany.

Germany Tourist Visa Eligibility &
Requirements
- Germany tourist visa is issued for leisure, sight-seeing and tourism purposes.
- It is a short-stay visa also known as a Schengen visa and allows a stay of 90 days maximum.
- Individuals with this visa can tour Germany, visit friends and families and even attend ceremonies.
- Applicants are expected to have accommodation reservations in Germany for the duration of their stay.
- This accommodation could be in the form of a hotel or even in the house of the applicant’s host.
- If you would be staying in the house of your host, the host would be required to write a letter stating the relationship between you and the host, purpose of your visit and duration of your stay.
- All travellers are to have travel medical insurance worth a minimum of EUR 30,000 and valid through all the Schengen area.
- You are also to have sufficient funds for your trip with proof which could be a recent bank statement or your salary slip.
- It is important to have your travel return ticket as this would convince your interviewer that you would return to your home country at the expiration of your visa.
- Your application form must be completely filled. Incomplete applications would be rejected.
- Applications for a visa usually require a physical interview so make an appointment and prepare for the interview after submitting your application.
Germany Student Visa Eligibility &
Requirements
- The German student visa is for Non-EU international students who have been accepted to study in a German institution.
- The student visa can be issued for full-time university programs or for language courses. There is also the student visa issued for the university application process which is only valid for those that need to apply to the university in person.
- Germany student visa can be used for an undergraduate, exchange, graduate and even post-graduate studies.
- If your studies last for up to 3 months, you can apply for a Schengen visa but if your studies last for more than 3 months, you have to apply for a German national visa.
- Students must provide proof of financial resources known as Finanzierungsnachweis which could be in form of at least €10,236 deposit confirmation in a German blocked bank account.
- You can also provide a letter of evidence of your parent’s financial assets, a scholarship awarding certificate or a letter of commitment by a German resident called Verpflichtungserklärung.
- The best time to apply for your visa is after being admitted and settling your finances.
- Proof of your university admission should be presented during your application. This proof can be a confirmation of your admission (Zulassungsbescheid) issued by the school in Germany.
- Proof of conditional admission (Bedingter Zulassungsbescheid) and a confirmed intensive course(Intensiv-Sprachkurs) can also serve as admission proof.
- Evidence of your earlier education is also required.
- The consul would also want to see your certificate of German or English Language proficiency.
- All students are to have health insurance.
- On your arrival in Germany, you are to apply for a student residence permit at the local resident’s office and you would be given a confirmation called Meldebescheinigung.
Germany Work Visa Eligibility &
Requirements
- Germany is one of the great places foreigners can work in as the country perceives it as an additional value for Germany’s economy.
- This visa is issued to individuals who want to migrate and work in Germany.
- Academics, scholars, researchers, graduate students, and other professionals can also work in Germany under the Residence Act and the Employment Regulation.
- Before you can work in Germany, you must have a work permit and residence permit which must be applied for immediately you arrive in Germany.
- You cannot request for a work permit unless you have evidence of already being employed in Germany.
- When applying for your visa, ensure you apply for the correct one as a short-stay visa cannot be changed into a permanent residence visa.
- You must have medical insurance worth a minimum of EUR 30,000 valid for your stay in Germany. This would cover any emergency that might occur while you are on your trip.
- The work visa is typically a national visa, valid for the duration of your contract and costs EUR 75.
- The applicant’s resume and application letter should be submitted along with other documents.
- A cover letter is also required which should state the reason why the applicant wants to work in Germany.
- You would also be required to show proof of your employment in Germany. The proof could be a copy of your employment contract.
- Ensure that your passport is not older than 10 years before you apply for this visa but if it is then you have to get a new passport.
- It typically takes around 15-23 days to process this visa but could be longer if the consul requires additional documents.
- All documents must be authentic, correctly filled and properly signed.
