He began his career co-starring in fan parody musicals A Very Potter Musical, A Very Potter Sequel and A Very Potter Senior Year as Ron Weasley along with Bonnie Gruesen and the Glee star Darren Criss. It was later created by the University of Michigan Theatre group known as StarKid Productions. In addition to that, he also starred in as the leading roles in a couple of other StarKid Productions as a fictionalized version of himself in musical Me and My Duck in 2009 and as Bug in Starship in 2011.

He rose to fame after being known for playing his role as Ron Weasley in the StarKid Theatrical production A Very Potter Musical, A Very Potter Sequel and A Very Potter Senior Year. He was also featured South Africa’s Triggerfish Animation’s Second Feature film called Khumba, as a bullying zebra Themba along with Liam Neeson, Steve Buscemi, Laurence Fishburne, and AnnaSophia Robb.
