LaVar Arrington

LaVar Arrington is a former American football linebacker. 

He had played in the National Football League (NFL) for seven seasons. He is currently working as a broadcaster for NFL Network.

Married, Children

Arrington is a married man. He is happily married to his wife, Trishia Johnson-Arrington. The couple met at one of LaVar’s charity functions in DC.

 Trishia was immediately attracted when she saw LaVar for the first time. But she did not know who he was at that and asked her friends about him. 

But she was disappointed as there were lots of negative news about football players at that time.

 After that she became mean with him, not agreeing to take pictures with him when he asked. 

But when she sat and talked with him, she was so much impressed by how much down to earth, and normal LaVar was despite being a football star. 

She was carried away by the values LaVar had and thought to her self that if he is precisely the kind of person who he says he is then she will marry him. 

And they now have been together for more than 14 years and LaVar never changed.

Now the couple is blessed with four beautiful children, three daughters named Penn, Marlee, and Lailaand a son named Lavar.

Now the family of six lives happily. And even in an interview, Trishia said that 

“He’s a big, strong, massive guy, but he’s my gentle giant.”

LaVar even suffered a severe motorcycle accident on June 18, 2007 in suburban Maryland. 

He lost control of his 2007 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14 and stroked a guardrail while he was on the Route 50 off-ramp of the Capital Beltway. 

He was in serious condition when he was rushed into the hospital, and he suffered a broken forearm, broken lower vertebrae, and deep cuts to his leg. 

But thankfully he recovered from that. Now he is living a happy and healthy life.

LaVar is said to have a whopping net worth of $45 million.

He has earned such a massive amount from his football career. 

He gained name and fame during his career as a football player and also known for his signature play known as “The Lavar Leap.” 

His assets include a house in Annapolis, MD. As a broadcaster he earns more than an average of annual $75,637.

LaVar also tried his luck in the restaurant business and opened a restaurant in the year 2008 in Landover, Maryland.

He named the restaurant The Sideline. 

But on March 2009, unfortunately an accident happened in the front gate of his restaurant, a man was killed, and six others were left injured after an argument ended up in a burst of gunfire. 

After that incident, the restaurant went bankrupt and was shut down in December 2009.

2. He was born to parents Michael and Carolyn Arrington. He has an elder brother named Michael Arrington, who played basketball at Slippery Rock University and a younger brother named Eric.
3. He is quite tall with a height of 6 feet and 3 inch which is 1.91 m.
4. He has good physic and maintains it quite well. He weighs 117kg, which is 257 lb. he looks very tall and robust.
