Vaibhavi Upadhyaya, a loving person with a tremendous passion for travel, died sadly on Monday, May 22. Her bereaved family had traveled to Chandigarh to remove her deceased remains and return it to Mumbai. The sorrowful funeral services to wish her farewell are set for May 24.
Vaibhavi was on one of her many adventurous adventures with her fiancé when a sad occurrence occurred. Their automobile unexpectedly drifted off the road while touring Himachal’s stunning mountains, tumbling into a deep gorge.
Unfortunately, Vaibhavi was killed in the accident, but her fiancé, Jay, was injured but survived. They were rushed to a hospital in Banjar in the immediate aftermath.
The sad occurrence occurred in Sidhwa, just outside of Banjar, while they were exploring the lovely Tirthan Valley in Jay’s Fortuner vehicle. The car spun out of control, hurtling down a ravine, descending a whopping 50 feet before coming to a stop.
Local neighbors who observed the traumatic episode immediately informed the police. Vaibhavi’s life had already been brutally cut short by the time the cops arrived.
Jay Suresh Gandhi was rescued from the wreckage with the help of the local people. According to DSP Banjar Sher Singh, the couple was visiting the famed Banjar pilgrimage valley when the tragedy occurred.
