What injury did Brooke Shields suffer? How long did it take Brooke Shields to recover?

Brooke Shields initially fractured her femur in a “freak fall” from a balance board at a New York City gym back in January 2021.  She required multiple surgeries to fix and later turned into a staph infection. She recovered for over 6 months.

In 1983, Brooke Shields suspended her career as a model to attend Princeton University, subsequently graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Romance languages.

Brooke Shields starred in several dramas in the 1980s, including The Blue Lagoon (1980), and Franco Zeffirelli’s Endless Love (1981). In 1993, Brooke Shields starred as Rizzo in the 1994 Broadway revival of Grease.
