Who Is Michael Cloud?
Michael Cloud is the politician representing Texas’s 27th congressional district in the United States House of Representatives.
Born on May 13, 1975, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Cloud is a republican and was amongst the 39 politicians to vote for the Merger Filing Fee Modernization Act of 2022.
Cloud is a graduate of Oral Roberts University, where he bagged a B.sc degree in mass media communications.
Cloud was sworn into the House of Reps on July 10, 2018.
Having led the Victoria County Republican Party for seven years, Cloud voted against HR 1085, which would have given the US Capitol Police who guarded the Capitol on January 6, 2021, three Congressional Gold Medals.
In 2021, Cloud voted to repeal the AUMF against Iraq, and in 2022, Cloud showed support for Jim Jordan to become the U.S. House Speaker.
Cloud has been married to his wife Rosel Cloud since 1999, and together they have three children.
