After an 18-month pre-debut project, Blockberry Creative revealed via Naver on October 2, 2016, that they would be releasing their first girl group.

In August 2019, Jaden Jeong resigned as the group’s creative director due to a creative disagreement with the business.

Each of the 12 members of the group was gradually revealed by releasing promotional music over the course of the following 18 months as part of a pre-debut strategy that began in October 2016.

They made their debut as a full band with the extended play [+ +] (2018), which was supported by the lead single “Favorite” and the title track “Hi High.”

After Chuu was removed from the lineup in November 2022, it was altered.
